All requests need to be written, addressed to Lake of the Torches Resort Casino and include a W9 Taxpayer Identification form and a donation request form, both available for download on this page.Our teams giving extends beyond cash donations as they also volunteer their time and energy. Our team members regularly participate in events such as food and toy drives, school supply drives, walkathons, and volunteer days. The venue features four bars and several private suites that are available to create an unforgettable live entertainment event. JACK is committed to serving the communities in which we do business and believes strongly in the philosophy of giving back. SOUND BOARD, an intimate live performance venue is located at MotorCity Casino Hotel. Lake of the Torches will not generally fund or provide in-kind donations for youth-related events, activities, and/or to benefit youth under the age of 21, grants to individuals of any type and individual medical expenses and fundraisers. MotorCity Casino Hotel welcomes Comedian Gary Owen to Sound Board on Thursday, Novemat 8pm.Lake of the Torches will also consider requests from non-local organizations whose activities allow the resort to promote good corporate citizenship in their areas. Priority consideration will be given to communities where Lake of the Torches team members work and live.

Lake of the Torches reserves the right to limit sponsorships and donations to one per calendar year per event or program.

All requests for events, support or sponsorship must come from an organization, non-profit group or public business.

Each request must be submitted and received a minimum of 30 days prior to the event.
